It is now a Museum.

John married Jaunita Harris on June 14, 1933, in Lawton, Oklahoma. His favorite story tells how they spent every Christmas together since they were married.  He was a veteran of  World war II and the Korean War serving with an Artillary regiment.  He retired from the Military in 1963.  Colonel Spencer then went to work for the Army-Air Force Exchange Service from 1964 to 1976.
