Minutes of January 25,

The President Ken Staten opened the Chapter at 1915 hours with 29 members, Ladies and guest in attendance.  The Flags were declared in place.

Brother Bob Simmons attended the Bible and gave the opening prayer.  Brother Bill Stone gave the Pronouncement.  Brother  Hank Riebel gave the Purposes of National Sojourners, Inc.

The president recognized MWPGM Robert Shipe and his wife Betty and MMOH William Stone and GHP of OKGC, RAM John King.

Reports of Committees: 2nd VP Selders reported that the Bridge of Light plans were progressing and that the MWGM Randy Rogers will be the guest speaker.  3rd VP AC Henager reported that he was working on the ROTC Awards program.  Flag Team reported that currently only one program is scheduled, Shawnee Teacher/Student of the year awards in April.

Brother Carr reported that the Indian Degree Team would be conducting the Fellowcraft and Master Mason degree at the Britain Lodge on May 5th at approx. 1500 hours.

The Chapter voted to make a donation of $1000.00 to the Scottish Rite Building restoration fund.  The hat was passed and collected $193.00 and the Nolen fund was tapped for the $807.00 difference.

The President presented Bro. John King and Bro. Gregory Fowler with their MIP cards and package.

The 1st VP Bro. Clark introduced the guest speaker of the evening, LTC Ret. Dewey Coffman (Senior VP for Army Affairs for OK Dept ROA) who presented a talk on the trails and goofs of a young USA tank platoon leader and the upcoming Reserve Officers Association meeting at the Tinker Club and he invited anyone who desired to please attend the evening dinner and program on April 14th at 1800 hours.

Mrs. Wanda Henager, 401-9805,  wandam11@cox.net  accepted the honors of being the new Sun Shine Lady for the Chapter.

It was reported that Bro. Laukat was visiting the beautiful nurses at a hospital while the doctors did a search and rescue mission to detect a possible Heart condition.  The chapter wished him well.

Bro Simmons gave the closing prayer and the president closed the chapter in due form at 2025 hours.
